Your Advent Support Welcomed

As we continue our Advent Season and Christmas preparation we need your help.  Our Altar Guild is planning on decorating with poinsettias and we will be featuring a string quartet composed of faculty from The FSU School of Music to enhance our Christmas Eve worship.   If you can assist in funding either or both, please use an envelope in your pew and drop it in the collection plate.

Diocesan-Wide Survey in English and Español

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As we wend our way through Advent — with its sense of hope, waiting, and expectation that aptly flows into our diocese’s transition right now — your Bishop Search Committee would like to remind you that our three-week diocese-wide survey is now underway, with the help of Holy Cow! Consulting!

Have you taken it yet?

If you have, thank you for taking the time to follow up! You can disregard this reminder email.

If you haven’t, please do so. Sharing your feedback will help us map a “landscape” of our diocese — where it stands, where it ought to head, and what it needs in a new bishop to get us there.

As a refresher, details you need to know:

  • The survey will close on Monday, December 22, 2025.

  • The survey takes about 25-30 minutes.

  • Your answers on the survey are anonymous.

  • You can only take the survey once.

  • You must take the survey in one sitting — you can’t save your answers and return to the rest of the survey later.

  • Holy Cow! say it’s best to take the survey on a computer or a tablet. Cellphones are not very friendly to a survey of this sort.

The survey is available in both English and Español, linked below:

Take the Survey | ¡Responde a la encuesta!

Thank you for doing your part to make this survey a useful tool in gauging the current health and future direction of our diocese — with Christ Jesus, our common denominator, first and foremost in our minds. As Paul reminds us: “It is from Christ that the whole body grows as each different part does its work” (Ephesians 4:16, Worldwide English New Testament).

Prayerfully,

Bishop Search Committee
