St. Paul’s Approved as an American Red Cross Shelter: Volunteers Needed
"When you pass through waters I will be with you;
and through the rivers they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.” – Isaiah 43:2
St Paul's has been approved to be a potential shelter in the event that we are needed in an emergency. This designation enhances our ability to serve the community of Quincy and Gadsden County in times of crisis.
To fulfill our role as a designated shelter, we are seeking volunteers to become certified through the American Red Cross. A training session will be held for those willing to serve during emergencies:
Shelter Heroes Training
Date: Saturday, August 16
Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Parish Hall, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
Lunch: Provided for all participants
This training is offered in partnership with the American Red Cross and is required for those interested in volunteering during emergency shelter operations. All parishioners and community members are welcome to attend.
To register, please contact:

We encourage those willing and able to participate in this important community initiative.
