Weekly Update - October 6th, 2025

Members and Friends,

We had a GREAT Blessing of The Animals yesterday as we blessed so many pets and were able to donate over $800 in goods and financial donations to St. Francis Wildlife.

Our next big event will be Bowls and Boos on October 31st. See below for the event flyer and a link to the Facebook Event.

Upcoming Services/Happenings of Note:

⛪Sunday, October 12th - Parish Meeting, immediately after the morning service

🎲 Wednesday, October 15th at 6.00 PM - Game Night.

🩸Sunday, November 16th - Our final blood drive of 2025

Morning Prayer - Join us Monday through Saturday at 8 am.

Bible Study will be taking a few weeks off.  Be on the lookout for an upcoming announcement as our new subject will be The Book of Esther in a few weeks.

Midweek Eucharist is on October 1st at Noon.

Sunday Morning Study Group continues this Sunday at 8:30 AM.  Grab a cup of coffee and join our regulars in The Parish Hall for conversation and prayer. Eucharist service follows at 10 am.

The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi: Blessing of The Animals

We thought it would be great to see a few pictures from the event.

Bowls and Boos

On Halloween night, Thursday, October 31st from 5:00–9:00 PM, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invites you to our annual Bowls & Boos Chili Cook-Off! Enjoy all-you-can-eat chili, cornbread, and a beverage, plus music, treats for the kids, and fun fellowship for the whole family. Costumes are welcome (but not required), and children 12 and under eat FREE with a paid adult.

Come before or after Quincy’s Trunk or Treat — and don’t miss our celebrity judges awarding prizes at 7:00 PM! Tickets are just $10. Take-out chili available, too!

All proceeds support Gadsden County Charitable Ministries of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Women (ECW).

SPEC Ministry

Our SPEC Ministry continues to help those with hygiene needs in Gadsden County. Deliveries can be sent to the church or dropped off at St. Paul's during operating hours.
